Catch hcmf on Radio 3

As the official Broadcast Partner to hcmf, BBC Radio 3 will be including extensive highlights of this year’s festival on its contemporary music programme, ‘Hear and Now’. A live broadcast on Saturday 28 November features London Sinfonietta’s world premiere performance of Richard Barrett’s new work, Mesopotamia, as well as Jonathan Harvey’s masterpiece Bhakti.

The programme will also be available for online listening via the BBC Radio 3 website for a week afterwards.

Other events from hcmf 2009 are being recorded for future editions of ‘Hear and Now’, which runs from 10.30pm to midnight every Saturday and is presented by Sara Mohr-Pietsch and Robert Worby.
