Developed over almost a year, Tiere sitzen nicht (animals don't sit) is a co-production of the work of composers Enno Poppe and Wolfgang Heiniger and the ensemble musikFabrik.
Both the musicians and the composers were led by the idea of creating an artistic process which lacks a single directing authority and is instead influenced by the sounds and movements of the musicians themselves, using a computer program developed especially for this work to enable the participants to bring forth their own ideas.
