A documentary exhibition on Dutch composer, theatre maker and theorist, Dick Raaijmakers (b.1930), generally acknowledged as one of the founders of electronic music in the Netherlands. He has, however, also created a most intriguing and inspiring body of work consisting of performances, visual art, music theatre and theoretical essays.
He belongs to the group of composers that changed contemporary music over the past 50 years by relating music and technology to different genres and disciplines. Raaijmakers' diverse body of work can be characterised as highly original and he has received several lifetime achievement awards.

Arjen Mulder is also the co-editor of Dick Raaijmakers: A Monograph published by V2. The English translation of the publication will be launched at the Exhibition opening.
