l'Ecriture, the composers craftsmanship that is traditionally held in high esteem in France and Italy, is omnipresent in two breathtaking virtuoso works by Italians Bellon and Francesconi. With his poetic and original sound world Gérard Pesson sets an example to the younger French generation. The programme is completed by the masterly oboe concerto by Korean composer Seung-Ah Oh and two works of young composers from Turkey and Colombia.
